first pictures look like s$%t

I just developed some of my first pictures with my 35mm camera and boy do they look like siht. They look exactly like the quality of a disposable camera, the ones that came out that is. The rest are so dark....those are the ones i remember having a very high shutter speed on (2000) soooo should the appreture be higher too to compensate? also...all the ones that DID turn out have a gold tint to them...wtf!?!
